Step into Emma Zappone’s wonderfully layered world with Creative Soul, a vibrant mixed-media project created especially for our Layers & Legends Virtual Retreat.

In this class, Emma will guide you through creating a beautifully layered art journal cover packed with personality, colour and vintage charm. You’ll explore collage, stamping, stencilling, texture and paint while building up all those gorgeous little details that make Emma’s work so distinctive.

The finished project combines vintage imagery, florals, ephemera and dimensional elements to create a cover that celebrates creativity and encourages you to put a little of your own story into every layer.

You’ll use these alongside a small selection of mixed-media basics from your own stash, including crackle paste, Distress Oxides, Vintage Gold wax, white splash ink and your choice of stamp.
