Date: T-minus a handful of sleeps until cruise time
Weather: Mostly sunny with a 90% chance of glitter
Wingspan: Still glorious
Today I attempted to assist Jenny with her art supply packing. Just a little hectic!. There were piles. I circled three times and perched dramatically on her journal stack for effect.
Here’s what I think is going into the suitcase (I had a birds-eye view, of course):
🎨 A rainbow of paints (possibly enough to paint the ship)
🖋️ Pens that look like chips (but aren’t — I checked
📓 Two journals — one for secrets, one for splatters
✨ Magical powders called “Lindy’s Magicals” — suspiciously shiny
🖼️ Sea-themed ephemera (my cousins might be on it)
🖌️ Brushes galore
🎭 Stamps and stencils and scribbly things
🧴Gesso. I don’t know what that is, but I’m told it’s important.
All this and she claims she's "keeping it simple." Bless.
As for me? I’m travelling light:
🪶 A notebook for sky sketches
📍A collection of shiny things (purely decorative)
🐟 Emergency sardines
🗺️ A map I drew myself (highly inaccurate but whimsical)
Humans, remember: the best art kit is the one that fits your style. Whether you're packing like a minimalist or a migrating artist, just gather what makes you excited to create.
Wings up and pencils sharp —

Seems like you’ve got it all covered. I still need to gather my chippies and be organised.
