Working across four consecutive art journal pages, Melinda will guide you through creating interactive layers that reveal different elements as you move through the project. Using acetate, mixed-media embellishments, foliage, stamps and Fantasy Faces, you’ll explore the idea that life can pull us in many directions — yet every experience and every layer becomes part of who we are.

There’s a little fussy cutting involved, but much of the layered window work is torn rather than precisely cut, making this an enjoyable, free-flowing mixed-media project.

Your class kit includes Uniquely Creative Crosses and Circular Vibes stamps, Fantasy Faces Pack #2 A5 assorted face images, a black-and-white face image, three sheets of clear acetate, white mixed-media foliage embellishments, mixed-media leaf embellishments and an acetate quote sheet.

You’ll add your own paints, inks, mediums and favourite mark-making supplies to make the project truly personal.
